Out of the Cage

Out of the Cage is an original mixed media piece. This piece is 3-dimensional and lots of fun. 

Out of the cage is acrylic on masonite. The cage and the wings of the bird are constructed out of small pieces of balsa wood, glued and glazed. This painting is box-framed, signed and dated. The masonite base is 12in. x 24in. but the birdcage hangs over the edges a little.
