Sleeping Poppies

Taking a walk through a field of Sleeping Poppies can be very relaxing but keep one eye on the sky for flying monkeys. 

This piece is one of the few remaining works from Kimberly Dawn's layered three-dimensional collection she created in the late-summer of 2017. The paintings from this collection all involve a labor-intensive layering of paint, matting, glass, and epoxy that, in the end, delivers a wonderful optical depth. Every time you look at pieces from this collection you see something new. 

This painting is 18"x 22" layered acrylic and epoxy and features a vintage gold recycled frame.
